The boots from this drop are well in production (over 20 pairs completed already) and we'll give you guys more updates as we get them from Chevalier.
The lack of communication from the manufacturer (if there are supply/manufacturing problems, just say so) and the grossly exaggerated timetables involved (Three week turnaround? On what planet?) are really off-putting. Frankly, I don't see myself ever ordering another Chevalier drop, regardless of quality or price.
It would be different if the expectations were managed to be more in tune with reality - just be up front and say that the lead time is 4 months, and avoid the weekly cries of "where are my shoes?".
