MarkPeople aren't really jumping on those, and I can see why. Those are pretty bland and have a strange last shape. The community over at reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice seems to think so, too. I would recommend polling Chevalier's shoes next time and having a drop for whichever model wins.

tmbpopePlease let us know which ones you guys are interested in.
We have to make sure we order enough of the material to make the footwear you want. It is really important you let us know so we can get you the shoes you really like!

DanielleSure thing! :)
Sorry if that last comment seemed a little curt or rude, haha - I didn't realize how short it sounded when I typed it. But I can let you know why the Chevalier cap-toe boot did so well -
The shape (last) and the silhouette of this boot in particular is really unique, and is similar to a very well-liked (but very very expensive) boot, the Viberg Service boot -

The Vibergs are an upwards of 600 to 700 dollars, though. This Chevalier boot is one of the first to come along in a more affordable price range, looks great, and looks to be well-constructed.
The wingtips are nice and probably built well, but for that price point, something much nicer like Allen Edmonds Strands could be had.

It's all about the competition! :D
