CompassionatorThe wallets are handmade in Indonesia by the vendor and have to be shipped from overseas to Massdrop and then shipped out to the members.
We are trying our best to keep the shipping down. If you were to order one of the handmade wallets from Chevalier directly the wallet would be $90 + $48 in shipping.
We are saving the community a lot of money because we have an opportunity to cut the shipping cost down by shipping the wallets all together.
We are partnering with Chevalier again because he makes amazing leather goods and wants to provide the community with another beautiful piece.

It is a nice wallet, though there are a lot of leather makers that can do the same for less with non- "secret" leather. Whatever that is.
Shoes are one thing a simple leather wallet is another. Can't help but feel that M-drop/Chev are riding the wave of an earlier success with a not so great deal. Only hope that M-drop can do better in the future.
