As someone who cares maybe a little too much about their hair and beard, I was very skeptical getting my first one. Metal in the hair just seemed like a bad idea. I kind of bought it on a whim in a previous drop. But I will say that my comb was amazing. Absolutely no snagging, no sharp edges anywhere, even in between the tines. I lost my old one and I'm definitely buying a new one. The one with the ring looks like a fun fidgety thing. TL;DR, if you're not sure, just buy it. Worth the money.

Maybe it's just me... but does this not look like a lice comb? Amirite? Because I'm pretty sure this uncomfortable looking thing is definitely a lice comb mean to strip parasaites from your hair strands, with the additional bonus of scalping you in the process. If it actualy is after all, I'd really like to know how the phone call recording sounded when the drop got set up. lol

I was totally joking by the way. You can chock it up to being up too late and surfing the ebb and flow of delirium after putting out fires for a production issue of my employer for hours. The teeth of that comb, at least in these photos, look menacingly sharp however. Now, I don't really care about that to be frank, given that I buzz my head with a No. 1. every week and would only need a comb like this if I had the patience and coarseness to actually grow out and style what's left of my formerly gorgeous Sicilian mane. I'm glad to know that men's hair care has champions like Chicago Comb fighting the good fight in our corner. But yeah, sharp looking, ouchie.

akarsnerNo worries, we were obviously just joking around too :) As you can imagine, the material the comb is made of actually has no bearing on whether it’s sharp. You probably put a metal spoon in your mouth every day, and that’s not sharp at all, but a metal knife would be sharp. It all depends on the shape and more importantly, how the metal is finished and polished. For these Standard combs we developed a lengthy, unique process with multiple steps to finish and polish the combs. All the edges are broken down and finished so the comb is smooth and very comfortable to use.

For $20, I was thinking about it.. but seeing the additional cost of the sheath sends this into the realm of absurdity for me.. these look pretty nice, but tbh, a comb's a comb as far as I'm concerned..

Oh, I have no doubt.. they do look very nice. Maybe I'll buy a fancy comb some day.. but for now, I still have 3 left from my dollar store 5-pack..
