Still haven't gotten mine from the /first/ drop. Yes I live in Australia, but that is not Antarctica.
Yeah, I'm going to need a reship. What really pisses me off about this experience is the people on here saying "Oooh, they're only a new company, give them a break". Yes, I know what it's like to be on the other side of that, but you guys at Massdrop need to manage demand. Do not offer to fill more orders than you can handle, because you just make people angry.
Massdrop, you need to clearly state (on the order page) that the buyer experience is very different with your company than others. People buy from you assuming that you provide a comparable service to other well known online retail brands; this is not the case, and allowing them to think it results in resentment.
If I had been aware at the time I bought this lighter that I would not have received it within 2 months then I would have bought it somewhere else, and kept Massdrop in my bookmarks for when I wanted that $1800 pair of headphones. Now I've wasted several hours of my time over the last several months trying to chase up what happened to a $25 butane lighter, and you've lost future business over a $25 lighter, and you can bet that for every customer who bothers to post about it on the Discussion page there's a dozen who decide the same in silence.

yiriDo you actually realize that the transport & post take like 95% of the time it takes to arrive? How can you control shipping times if you actually do not own the post? Please tell me. I ordered a T-shirt from some another shop and it took over 3 months to arrive after it was shipped and I would never blame the shop for it. Even if they ship all orders in one day this is beyond their reach. I work in company which ships the goods worldwide with the regular post and even if we ship the goods two hours after we confirm that order we still receive a complaints that it's 7 or more weeks and our customers still don't have the goods.
