A decent watch.

Obviously the design is completely subjective and up to the consumer, but I'd say it's fashioned in a relatively safe and reserved style with one or two quirks and design elements to not make it completely droll (which I appreciate). Overall the watch feels robust on the wrist and the build quality correlates with how it looks. This is my first watch, and I'd say I'm not disappointed. Wears comfortably and looks nice. The solar eco-drive is fantastic and incredibly convenient. I'm a pretty active individual and wore the watch more often than not, so perhaps the wear was accelerated -- but I'll note anyway that my issue came with the durability of the leather strap, which fell apart short of a year. The black numbers around the case have also worn pretty bad, so half of them are now bare metal, the other half are still there, and a couple are only half colored. I think the watch would look better with a different strap or even a metal band, so I'll look into swapping that soon. I've included some casually taken photos as reference.
