I own the Titanium version of this watch, CB5908-57E. I'm brutal with it and it still looks good. The only scratches are on the band where the links have a steel(?) cap on them. The gray titanium is like new. The setup requires you to charge it in the sun for at least a day, then follow the somewhat complex setup instructions. After that, you're good. The NIST radio signal keeps it hacked. Once the battery is topped off, you're good. I don't wear it frequently after a year and a half, I've switched to my Apple Watch -- but I'll get tired of that again and go back to this watch. If you do not live in North America see the NIST webpage on the 60kHz radio signal that sets it: https://www.nist.gov/pml/time-and-frequency-division/radio-stations/wwvb/help-wwvb-radio-controlled-clocks
