Notably light thanks to its titanium case, Citizen’s BL5250-02L also offers virtually endless functionality. As a perpetual calendar, it’s able to keep track of day, date, month, and year. Set it once, and it’ll remain accurate for a century. And as a chronograph, it offers stopwatch accuracy down to 1/20th of a second. Want to measure speed against time, or distance against speed? Equipped with a tachymeter on the outer rim of the dial, the BL5250-02L can do that, too. On top of it all, the watch offers an alarm function, a unidirectional bezel, and water resistance up to 200 meters.
Note: This drop is limited to 30 watches.
Fitted with Citizen Eco-Drive 812 quartz movement, the BL5250-02L runs entirely on solar power. It’s equipped with a mineral crystal, beneath which is a black dial that features a grid-like background. Positioned on the dial are three subdials, one that partially obscures the 2 o’clock numeral, another in place of the 6 o’clock numeral, and a third that partially obscures the 10 o’clock numeral. The titanium bezel matches the titanium case—which features two pushers and a crown—while the white stitching on the strap complements the white markers on the dial. Holding it all together is a solid screw-down caseback.
