Beautiful damascus blade. Really like the warmth of the sandalwood handle but do wonder how much abuse it will take. The flipper tab is positioned well forward, and shallow relative to other flippers I have, so it is pretty awkward to use IMO. The knife is overall larger than I imagined (thinking wood scales + damascus = gentleperson's pocket knife). Skeletonized liners and black G10 (I think) backspacer. Smooth opening but not as smooth/fast as the Civivi Baklash; at least not yet. Lockup is precise/definite and there's no play in the blade. Scales are made to good tolerance. Don't think they're resin-impregnated so may try working in some Watco oil or rifle stock oil. A nice knife for the money. Made with love, or at least quite well engineered/manufactured. The combination of sandalwood handle and damascus blade give it some old-school flash.
