What is "D2 Stainless"? Isn't D2 not-stainless? Or am I wrong? And is this a "different D2"?

Real nice knife, I like the grind but once again the price is not compelling. Like other commenters are pointing out here, the listed price is the exact same as on other major sites, so no discount on Drop. Come on Drop, whats the advantage of ordering from your site lately? Not only that but I can pick up three, yes three, solidly built Ganzo's/Firebirds for the same price as this knife and it's not like the Durus is any kind of "special" collectors addition right? This is just another knife for the lower end users, basically, a beater knife for users with plenty of other options competing for the $$$. In addition, the Civivi and Ganzo's/Firebirds are both manufactured in China so there is no home team manufacture advantage for all of the "Buy USA" crowd either... So, in my opinion, Drop, you'll just have to do better before I hit that black & yellow buy button.

Civivi is the new budget (well, comparatively budget, they're all north of $50) line of knives put out by WE Knife. They're decent knives at their price, as well made as American knives available at a comparable price. They're also widely available in major knife retailers, and this isn't all that compelling of a price, but it also isn't a bad one.

I think they are doing us a service :) I am also the same. Since joining drop (about 8mths ago), I've only bought one thing, a jacket. Not buying something is really a good thing - I still have a drawer full of knives :) Thankyou drop - for all the wrong reasons :)

Over-ConsumerI love my cutjacks and modi(moduses? medusa?) I have a credit here that will probably disappear. Otherwise, I would be ordering from WMK.
