For those of you confused about pen refills, here is a link to some help. It is a great tool for figuring out is it a Parker G2 or a Pilot G2...link.

Not affiliated or anything, but I would just save an extra $40 or so and buy a tactile turn pen. Much better quality and the owner is a pleasure to work with. No glass breaker pens there but if you really want one I would recommend a dedicated tool for that anyway.
You lose your pen (what’s the probability of THAT happening?) and you lose your emergency tool. Plus the dedicated tools work a bit better than the “try to be all ones”. There are rare exceptions but still.

Just wonderin' if folks have the new grey or black one or see what I'm seein' - are the grooves on the grip of the newer black or grey variants not cut as deep? Did they just photoshop/render the grip grooves?!?

Why can’t the pen use a simple regular brand everywhere refill now where to buy this special hard to obtain refills anywhere in the world?

willie2849These take the Parker G2 style refill, not to be confused with the Pilot G2 pen which is a larger size refill. I like this refill since it keeps the pen size down and there are so many options.

cydwelIt takes SCHMIDT Megaline P 950 M or similar... But I believe there is a way for the Fisher to fit, either outright or with something else, but you'd have to Google it

You should ignore when Drop tells you that they shipped this item, or anything else they tell you for that matter. The fact of the matter is that they are not the ones who have been waiting for months and they don't care that you are. All they care about is looking good, and if that's at your cost, so much the better for them. All they did was print a shipping label, which any moron can do to make you think that they actually shipped your item.So far Drop still has the shipping label in their facility and FedEx has nothing.

If that were to explain this shipment... Big IF... It wouldn't explain any other shipments that have been equal or worse.

Davidsh331Oh I agree with you fully on the other packages. It used to be understandable in the early days of Massdrop where they needed to collect all the funds for a discount, but now it is entirely unacceptable how long it takes to ship things.
But this one in particular I'd have to say just be a bit more patient.
