Does anyone know the origin of "Crok" for this style of nb? It seems to be neither fish nor fowl: at nearly B5 size, it may be hard to use as a blank page with neither grid nor line since the Satin finish renders a page a bit too opaque to use the japanese pencil mats I've come to depend upon with Tomoé River paper; but as a sketchbook it seems short on total pages at 24 sheets / 48 pages.
And of course the shipping ping is outrageous, adding nearly 90 cents to the unit cost of a single notebook out of the ten.
Could anyone speak to their experience using these? Thanks!

Bulk order shipped! The vendor informed us that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive on 8/30.

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Clairefontaine Crok'Books (10-Pack) and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 8/31.
