The Clairefontaine paper is as good as it reputed to be with fountain pens. There isn't a whisper of feathering. There are other papers out there with French (Seyes) ruling that is finer, but this is a less obtrusive light blue. My only disappointment was with the binding. It is far from lay-flat. I feel like I am going to break the binding sometime.

The paper in the legal and note pads from the office supply store have gotten so bad at work, I'm bringing these in from home to use because the paper is fantastic for fountain pens.
