Omg these are soooo friggin tight, I cant get even one of them off without ripping the top of the switch off on my ergodox. Its actually wrecked one of the switches entirely trying to remove one of them.. I have no idea where to find a replacement cherry mx clear switch because its fully wrecked.

cub3yI've used these keys on a board with clears and a board with reds (see discussion back on page 1); the clears are what turns them from "a little tight" to "permanently affixed to the stem", as the clears have a little nub on the stem that holds on to the cap.
I haven't managed to destroy a switch but have had to open the housing and grab the underside of the stem with pliers to get the cap off.

shanemaddenSweet will do that. Might have a look at modifying all the clear stems as I like to be able to switch keycaps at leisure
