DROP has a track record for disposing of EOL products: Acoustic Research AR-H1, Audio Technica ATH-SR9, ATH-W Series, etc. I wonder if Cleer decided to discontinue production of their unsuccessful NEXT headphone, and DROP is taking advantage of the situation by offering us yet another FAILED product for a bargain price.

SuperCerealThough I wouldn't call ATH-W series "failed", you do have a point. Cleer is better known for cheap bluetooth headphones. The NEXT were supposed to compete with HD800. Looks like Cleer underestimated this market segment.

SuperCerealI wouldn't think that to be the case. The driver design on the Next is what the rest of their over the ear lineup is based off of. After watching the Louisville soccer match this past weekend against Pittsburgh and seeing their brand sponsorship on the LED signage, I would assume they're on a drastic growth curve and wanting to add to the audiophile lineup instead of retract.
