dolusebEach half of the keyboard is CNC'd from a solid block of aluminum. The plate is an integral part of the keyboard, so there is almost no flex at all. The plate has reinforcing ridges to reduce the remaining flex even further. The finish and anodizing are extremely high quality.
Compare it to something like the CNC'd Cooler Master TKL case, which is $200 for the case alone. This is a really hard to match price for what you get.
