I am curious @Clutch Chairz, I currently own a DxRacer F Series and thoroughly enjoy it. It has served me well for around 4 years now but I want to get something different. Something thats a bit bigger and not cloth and was going to go with a DxRacer Iron Series. How would you say this compares to that chair if you know?
ZelgiusthebraveZelgiusthebrave,
I have had a DXRacer Iron series chair now for the last 2 years. It is a great chair. There are for sure some key features about the Clutch Throttle Series chair that make me like them even more than the Iron series from DXRacer.
1. The Neck/Lumbar support pillows are much more supporting on the Clutch Series Chairz. Actually the Lumbar support is the best I have ever tested on any chairs period. It is amazing! 2. The metal support beams and pillars in the Clutch chairz are pre-treated with a protectant spray to protect against rust. This ultimately keeps the chair from having a smell after time. 3. Clutch Chairz also use the same memory foam grade material that is used on the seat and back portions of the chair to wrap these metal support beams and pillars so that they are not felt through the chair. Other chairs will use a much cheaper almost styrofoam material to wrap the metal inside the chairs. 4. Lastly, the added bonus of this chair being about $100 cheaper than a DXRacer Iron series chair is pretty freaking cool!
If you have any other questions about the Clutch Chairz or the DXRacer Chairs I am more than happy to help, just tag me in the post.
Cheers.

Tex-ArozziGreat info @B.Hutch thanks. As far as chair design goes, the Iron Series seems closer to the Clutch Gear Series in looks, Throttle seems more like the Master series if I'm right. And I'm curious about one more thing, the lumbar cushion on the DXRacers is smaller, more of a log shape. The Clutch chairs seem more like a full pillow, are they softer and more form fit because of their size?
PS. Since I'm around 5'9 (5'10 on a good day) and around 175lbs (give or take) and with this being the largest chair in the Clutch line, does Massdrop have a rough estimate for when the Gear series will be offered since it seems closer to my height and weight range? I realize this drop has the better deal of course but I may be just slightly small for it, I also suffer from scoliosis though it's not too bad yet, I feel a more snug fit chair would do me better than this one but I'm not too sure.
ZelgiusthebraveThe lumbar cushion on the DXRacer is much smaller and mine over time has lost its support and shape. The Clutch Lumbar support is made of a similar memory foam material that the chair is. Its just a softer density than the seat is. Also the Clutch lumbar support pillow has a natural curve in it the same shape as your back so it is not only extremely comfortable and supportive but also form fitting.
As far as your second question I can only say that it will be "soon" I dont have an exact date nailed down yet but stay tuned as for sure you will see them drop on the site in the very near future.
