b3Rz3RkoHello,
i wouldn't recommend any switch at all, taste and likings differ to much from person to person.
You just missed the switchtester here on MD, maybe you can get one somewhere else.
Don't know where you're living, but maybe visit a shopping mall/electronic market.
Here in Germany we're able to get our fingers on cherry mx red, brown, blues, black and razer switches that way.
b3Rz3RkoI went to Bestbuy to try out the mx blues. Realized I wanted a clicky switch that was heavier. Purchased the wasd code mx green tkl, but returned it a few days later because of faulty leds. Then I purchased the va87m mx green as my first keyboard. Just because it's your first mechanical keyboard, doesn't mean you have to go light. If you're fortunate enough to live around a computer store like microcenter, go and see if you like clicky, linear, or bump type of switch. Then ask yourself if the actuation force is right for you or if you need a little more.
