Cold Steel has earned a following for its reliable folding knives and massive fixed blades. These fall into the second category. They also happen to be made with tanto points, which has been the company’s bread and butter for over three decades. Originally designed to pierce armor, the tanto has a long, straight edge and a secondary edge with a high point and flat grind. And in this drop, you can choose from three different sizes, all of which are made from San Mai VG-10 stainless steel for excellent edge retention. The polished satin finish plays nicely with the dark black Kray-Ex handle, too. Textured for grip security, the handles on each model are the same length. To protect the blade, each comes with a Secure-Ex sheath.
