DLC-Coated Blade, Textured G-10 Handle
The Cold Steel Recon 1 Tanto features a blade made from Carpenters CTS XHP stainless steel alloy that boasts tremendous piercing and slicing ability. The blade is finished with DLC coating, which adds hardness and gives the knife an understated, under-the-radar look. Its handle is ergonomically crafted with G-10 scales that provide a solid grip and are surprisingly light for a knife of this size. The Recon 1 Tanto also features Cold Steel’s famous Tri-Ad locking system, making it virtually impervious to shock and able to handle rough treatment. The knife comes with an ambidextrous pocket clip and lanyard hole for convenient carry.
