Not sure why the Warcraft would be an additional cost given it's the smallest of the bunch. Because of the G-10? I would rather spend more on workmanship or on the blade itself.

LazarusLongIt's what the market calls for. Very possible that the different handle is what is throwing the price out of whack, but this far the only place I see comparable to MD is a guy selling on eBay. And I've learned to be wary of authenticity when dealing with eBay. Either way it was just barely a better buy than MD.

LazarusLongg10 is considered a premium handle material, by comparison to Kray-Ex.
Kray-Ex has a base handle of either plastic or FRN (I'm simply not sure which) coated in a rubber-like polymer for grip.
The primary concern with Kray-Ex as I see it is what happens when that polymer grip starts to wear down? g10 provides a consistent texture that will take years of hard use to show real wear.

LazarusLongI noticed it's the only listing that says Full Tang; do you think that would make a difference? I thought they would all be Full Tang, but I'm just beginning to learn about knives.

LazarusLongthe warcraft is also wider and requires more material on the handle which is probably where the extra cost comes from. the sculpted G-10 is definitely more expensive to produce as well as to install since it's a multi step process. IMO the quality of the warcraft worth the extra money.

cr0n1cIf you are going to use a fixed blade knife for anything more challenging than opening letters, full tang (not to be confused with the Wu Tang Clan) is the way to go.
