Mother fuck Cold Steel. Bought this knife (not on MD obviousl) And out of the box it didn’t cut paper. Paper. They brag that their knives are sharp as fuck but I’m here to tell you I got a pos. I was hesitant to buy a CS because I feel like they’re ghetto overpriced crap. Not surprised they’re on MD tho

Thrift_First_Retail_Lastnot so much the quality, which is crap, but the fact that CS's claim to fame is how tough and razor sharp their knives are. I got two in three weeks and BOTH could not be duller. The quality blades that I own ie: benchmade came sharper than a scalpel and i have yet to sharpen one since owning them for years. the quality control from CS is shameful. CS is fully ghetto

TayTayBallsDoubt. In general, Benchmade's come with duller edges than Cold Steel across the board. BM's heat treat is also inferior to CS's, an example being their s30v in particular, which is prone to chipping.
