Can't say that for sure since I don't have any hard data and graphs showing the numbers, but I can guarantee my car at about 1/3 the price of yours leaves me with plenty of cash in hand to go buy a few swords and we're still probably more likely (statistically speaking) to go run over plenty of living things on the road with our cars.
Some people like to spend extra money on fancy expensive cars. Others that don't have that extra shit-ton of money might still be able to afford a $250 sword to go carve up some wild boar for dinner and have some fun doing it with caution and respect for the sharp edge.
