I hope MD brings this drop back. I bought a Colibri Equinox from Touch of Modern and it is one of my favorite pens. Easily my smoothest steel nib, and rivals my Lamy and Pilot 14k nibs. Love this pen.

My Colibri fountain pen is unusable due to the cartridge being stuck in barrel. I see many others are having same issue it something an established co. like Colibri should have known ahead of time and corrected it. Shame. What now?

OK. After 2 hours of careful "fiddling" I was able to pry a cartridge out of the bottom of the pen! It was jammed so far down that it took couldn't even be seen at first. All is well now. Thanks!

I sent email earlier today. I spent over $200 on this Colibri Equinox Fountain Pen and Rollerball. Not only is the converter too wide for the pen body (it only allows the pen's body to come up ½ way to the nib section!), but I got home tonight and tried to use a standard international size Levenger ink cartridge in the fountain pen. IT DOESN'T FIT EITHER! The entire pen seems to be a rip-off since the Colibri site does not even offer cartridges for the pen.
I want either a converter that fits or a refund on the order. $200 is a lot of money!

hmgreenHi @hmgreen, is the issue that you can't attach the barrel back to the grip section when the converter or ink cartridge is installed? If so, an included ink cartridge might be stuck in the back of the barrel. To get it out, tap the open end of the barrel firmly on a table surface to knock that little bugger out.
Otherwise, if I've totally misunderstood please contact Support through your transactions page, and we can get it taken care of.

Mine arrived today and I think I'm having the same problem as the previous poster. This is my first fountain pen and I'm not really sure how to fix it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nicolis @Nicolis, see my reply to @hmgreen. You can usually get the cartridge out with a few firm taps on a table. Hope this helps!

LizOK. I am home now and can see the comments. There are no cartridges in the barrel at all. And it is not just the cartridges that do not fit. The supplied converter is both too long and too wide for the pen. It does not clear the width of the barrel so I cannot attach the barrel to the nib section to screw the 2 parts together. I do stand corrected on one thing - I did not pay $200 for the 2 pens - I paid $108 and some change. Please bring this to the correct persons' attention. I believe I need a refund and an RMA number to return this. Thanks!

Mine arrived today, and I'm having some trouble getting the converter it came with to fit into the barrel. There doesn't seem to be a cartridge in the barrel, either, though it may be wedged. Anyone else having trouble?
EDIT: Yep, trapped cartridge.

Individual shipments are being prepared now! Our warehouse team received the group's bulk order earlier and have already broken everything down into the individual packages. As soon as your package is scanned into the courier's system an email will be sent with shipping confirmation and tracking info.

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Colibri Equinox Fountain Pen and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 7/7.
