I've been a cigar and pipe guy for roughly 30 years ... hmmm that is a while, isn't it? I wonder how much has gone up in smoke over all those years?
At any rate, over all that time Xicar has proven to be the better buy in piezo/electronic lighters. Quality on all lighters has fallen over the years. Owners and manufacturers alike treat them as disposables. Xicar's answer to the trend has been to offer "no questions asked, lifetime replacement." When the lighter doesn't work - and they ALL reach this stage after a year or so - the dealer replaces it on the spot.
Though I've enjoyed Colibri's style and form-factors over the years, the competition has them pretty well beat these days.

I'm a dedicated cigar smoker and have a cheap Ronson single jet that works just fine.That being said I believe you'll do fine with this one.I have a cutter from Colibri and its well made so i'd guess this will be a quality product also.
