I'm almost tempted just by the fact that it has a gun grip maker's grip on it.

Mine broke already, lighted about 10 times. Clearly says "China" on the bottom. The orifice part where the flame comes out fell off! So is it a fake? When I got it fit and finish reminded me of a $3 convenience store lighter. Do I spend $9.50 to send it Colibri just to tell me it's a fake??

These "made in china" complainers are always just dumb. Like if it was stamped "made in usa" you would be guaranteed the finest quality and not the lowest bidder with cheapest quality materials, trying to cheat consumers.

" Colibri has been producing quality lighters for nearly a century". Not a smoker and don't know the brand names so I decided to look at Amazon reviews. Lots of 1 stars for lighters failing within a few months and no response from Colibri.
Please let us know how your lighters perform after you get it.

bookworm13Don't have this one but I have a Colibri Delta soft flame lighter - it works fine. For high quality though, I go to my S.T. Dupont lighters.
