It is fused on pieces of fabric like a collage. The pattern includes a full size picture which you trace into gusabke webbing. Then you fill with small pieces of fabric. After it's all ironed down you can go over to secure by machine. I wouldn't say it is a portable hand project.

Not a deal for me. I just want the squirrel pattern. To be honest I think it is way overpriced regularly for what it is. Just a large paper outline and basic instructions. I don't need a $20 book to tell me how to fuse appliqué. Can you just sell the pattern reduced?

I don't understand why one would pay 39.99 + shipping for one pattern - The Squirrel when you can get that pattern from a seller on Etsy for $26.00 + shipping https://www.etsy.com/listing/539151073/hazel-nutt-collage-quilt-pattern-by?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_us_a-craft_supplies_and_tools-patterns_and_how_to-patterns_and_blueprints&utm_custom1=cf496dd0-73bc-4bcd-8a1b-e355c7a03882&gclid=CjwKCAiArrrQBRBbEiwAH_6sNFvqg5iY7eNqForgnteNi2IwboMqNgbx_pgE8dotNXg1nZFZ6d9qPxoCGRcQAvD_BwE Amazon also has a good selection of patterns from this designer at better pricing than Mass Drop

busybee17do not know for sure, but I'm pretty sure you do NOT need an embroidery attachment. I believe it's done with free motion sewing using a thicker thread. That is my guess. I'm excited to learn! It's really cute!! Hope this drop happens.
