I can tell that I'm old. Every time I run into this company on here I want to shake my fist at them for their willful (I hope) misspelling of the word Compass. It's like fingernails-on-a-blackboard to my eyes.
I'm sure they make fine shirts...
I’ve have ordered 6 shirts from them now through the various drops (t shirts, long sleeve tees, and a sweatshirt). I love all of them. They fit great and are comfortable. I’m 6’3 180lbs. So a pretty skinny tall frame. I’ve ordered large for everything and I think it fits great. I hope that can help some people.
I like several of these shirts and would love to buy them, but I'm put off by the 48% polyester. I'm wondering why the manufacturer has made a decision to not use 100% cotton?
grumpasaurusrxBesides pricing, a lot of times is due to printing process -- the way the print gets applied onto the fabric sometimes is 'cooked' with heat and that only takes better onto organic-synthetic blends, and hence the choice. The heathering look/color on t-shirts also can only be created through blends.
TomasVI'm a little puzzled... you say the heathering look/color can only be created through blends, but I'm wearing a 100% cotton heather gray long sleeve tee from Eddie Bauer right now. Do you mind clarifying? Thanks!
(and nothing wrong with cotton/poly blends -- I have several that I like :-)
We do offer a lot of graphic tees without or with minimal branding on our site. However, we are building a brand so we do find it important to include that in some of our artwork. But, thank you again for the feedback, I hope we eventually make something that you'd like.
Hey there! My apologies for the delay in my response. I am not always the best at keeping up with all of my social media accounts. We are our own apparel brand based in New York. We just work with the Massdrop team on monthly graphic collections. We will be working on some new gear and custom products in 2019 - who knows maybe some of it will make it onto a drop!
I don’t get the hate for cotton/poly blends. I’ve got plenty of cotton/poly shirts that feel great and have lasted a long time. I’ve also had 100% cotton shirts that feel awful. So why do you dislike them?
Maybe someone can help me out here as this size chart is throwing me off a bit.
Is the chest measurement just the width of the shirt when laid down? My chest measures 41 in. around. Im guessing I just take that number and cut it in half to get 20 ish for this chart?
The measurement from hips I also don't really understand at all.
Scratching my head over here.
freeframedThat's exactly correct. The number for chest measurement is that of the width of the t-shirt from armpit to armpit. So if you double that number you have the total chest measurement.
