@blackICE audiophile quality earplugs, ones that don't distort the sound cost a lot more than your dollar store ear plugs, you know how all the sounds sound duller, almost underwaterish with typical earplugs, these shouldn't do that, it should sound like what it would without earplugs just quieter

they are actually called high fidelity ear plugs. they reduce sound not block it so you still get all the frequency's. I've tried generic fit ones (not these) which were not bad for the price but the best are my custom ones from pacific ears
