Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. Because they cost so much, we have to suck it up and keep using them after they've been damage. You just have to make sure you pull off any loose foam bits, otherwise they'd end up in your ear canal...
So why am I interested in these so much despite their appalling durability? They're one of the few ear tips that can fit the Jaybirds Bluebuds X AND vastly improve the sound quality over other ear tips I've tried on these.
However, if you have any suggestions (other ear tips that fit BlueBudsX or DIY hacky solutions) on cheaper and equally appalling durability alternatives, or a good quality tip, then I'm more than keen to give it a go.
In the meantime, I'm stuck hunting for deals such as these. International postage + massive discounts would mean I'd be buying bulk. I may be dissatisfied with the cost, but the improvement it makes to the Bluebuds is amazing.
