Made from 1075 carbon steel, the flat-ground blade has tons of belly, making it great for slicing, chopping, and clearing brush. Grab the knife by the contoured handle, which has brown micarta scales for an earthy look and a healthy grip. Overall, the knife weighs 11 ounces.
