It's only okay if you intend on using it to it's full potential. I'll start in order of what I have the most complains on and move down the list from there. Macros:
  • The macro recording can only be done on the keyboard itself and not using the software.
  • It records the delays between keystrokes, which is almost always completely useless.
Keys:
  • The keys that use stabilizers are mushy and sound different from the other keys.
RGB:
  • Can only be controlled using the keyboard settings or using the app.
  • Is restricted very heavily.
  • Each setting is limited to only 1 background color and one effect color
  • Exceptions are the color wave and color cycle.
  • The "MultiZone" setting allows you to use up to 4 presets in one. However:
  • Only one preset can be used per key
  • You can not have transparency between presets.
  • Ie: You can not have a key light up white on top of a color wave.
  • Not capable of deep colors. They appear a washed out.
Notes: They're not held against the product but should be known. SDK: It is clearly not intended to be used by the

Good overall, but my Backspace, Return, and right-side Shift keys are kind of "mushy" compared to the other keys.

I love this keyboard. I bought it with blue switches. The footprint is minimal, perfect! I've been a Razer snob for years and have been really loyal to my Blackwidow but this keyboard just dethroned it. I also tried a Corsair K70 with blue switches. I didn't like it as much and the software was really clunky. The switches are better, the construction is better and the FEEL is better. It's a joy to type on. I use it for work and for gaming. I couldn't be happier.

Typing this from my new CM keyboard now!! It's been a couple days and I can really say it is a total joy to type on. Really love the feel of the Cherry Browns. The LED is awesome as well :)
