I received mine Saturday. The bag is okay, but it suffers from some design issues. The inner pocket is not quite big enough for a notebook (the paper kind), the side pockets are a bit tight, and the strap is too long and somewhat uncomfortable, although the fasteners are metal and very solid, and they're on swivels to prevent the strap from getting twisted up. The strap is most certainly not worth whatever ridiculous price they were asking for it separately and I wouldn't have bothered had it not been included. The secondary snaps are difficult to make fasten, since there's not necessarily a solid surface underneath them, and there's no place to put your finger, like there is in the middle snap. Buckles would have been better, for sure. But it is a leather bag and seems solid and durable overall. I will be filing off the copper river logo, since after this experience, the last thing I want to do is to have paid for something that will also serve as free advertising for them. The bag is fine, and it is constructed well enough to last, but it was not worth the wait of close to two months or having to deal with the assorted failures of customer service.

Also, their insistence on using "hand craft" every time a normal person would say "create," "make," or "assemble" is grating, pretentious, and extremely annoying. It reminds me a bit of a waiter who once asked me if I was finished "enjoying" my meal. Yes, the food no longer brings me pleasure. Please take it from the table. A silly use of language in my opinion, and it does nothing for their credibility.

All in all, I'm glad that this is over.

jeremycJeremy, how do you plan on removing the logo? it is also something I want to do but not sure the best way to go about it without messing up the bag. I have a general aversion to logo'd merchandise

arueschhoffI was just going to sand it off, with either some medium-fine grade sandpaper or some steel wool, and then apply some oil or conditioner so that it doesn't look too bad. I'm not all that concerned with how it looks, though. :) Since it's an extra piece of leather that's just riveted on to cover up where the middle ring is attached, it's non-essential, so if I ruined it, no big deal.
