very fun, high quality presentation

please refer to bgg, dice tower & the like for gameplay reviews, they can do a better job than me. i will say, though, that this game is *really* fun as both a 2 player and 4 player game. (have not tried 3 player, but would assume it's great there as well.) even though it's mostly a worker placement type game, the mechanics are very unique, and the cascading effects of your turns are very rewarding. the game requires strategy to win, but it's not burdensome; i tend to get "analysis paralysis" but can minimize it with this game. also of note, is the presentation. very colorful board, and while the pieces are plastic, the molds are sturdy and attractive, and everything fits nicely in the well designed box insert. all around great game, highly recommended. A+

Solid game with interesting mechanics

This game has a blend of area control and influence manipulation. To control a city in certain zones you have to have the right cards to play based on the "council" over that land. Controlling cities of the same color or in the same zone grants you bonuses that daisy chain with each new city you take control of. It's a really interesting mechanic and a lot of fun to play.
