Sometimes, the unexpected need for survival essentials arises. Not everyone can carry a full kit with them, but in the spirit of preparedness, there are ways of being ready without sacrificing space or adding additional weight to your everyday carry. Compact compasses are often reserved for aircraft professionals, however, they have recently started becoming a regular carrying piece among campers and EDC enthusiasts. For a light essential, CountyComm Brass compasses are a very small, very essential piece of EDC that can be hung from a necklace or attached to a keychain. With a durable construction, they’re high functioning pieces of hardware that aren’t heavy to carry and can be accessed easily on a day to day basis.
Note: This drop includes one Companion compass by default. At check-out, you can choose between a second Companion compass or a SERE compass (- $8) for your 2nd compass.
Featuring a C360 Free Machining Brass body, the Companion Compass has been machined in the USA. It has a small loop built into the top of it that a string can be laced through, so the compass can be easily connected to where it needs to be.
The SERE Compass was built with a few key ideals in mind: Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape. With prominent luminous legending for easy reading and a din sealed brass case, it’s been threaded with 45 lb braided nylon fish line for easy carry.
