Hot now, but what this will sell for six to eight months from now.? Should come with a Sell Before Date so consumers can better determine when the technology will become embarrassingly obsolete vs the price they just paid.

RayFI disagree. Even more expensive 5+ Year old DAPS seem to hold their value for alot longer than you think. People are still seeking out old high end walkman models the same goes for DACS/AMPS made 10 years ago often high end ones are often high in demand heck even FIIOS old models keep getting bought for ridiculous prices online as some perfer them. You have to understand DROP need to keep a good relationship with manfactures, they wouldnt ever do anything like that nor does it even make sense. A sell before date sounds absurd and anyone could just search for the release date of a product. I dont think this will become embarrassingly obselete even in 5+ years, materials are only going up in cost recreating technology like this could become even more expensive despite small increments in quality for more budget daps using new technoligies that can only go so far.

factsvsfeelingsKid--you ever been accused of taking anything too "literally" -- I mean like before today? The bit about the Sell Before Date was intended to be an Ironic statement/comment (you can look that up while you're searching for next late model Walkman). Meantime, yes there will always be a certain lunatic fringe that, for lack of being there, romances for older shit--I'm partial to '62 Corvettes, for instance. But that wasn't the point I was making. When technology in a given field, or for a given product is advancing rapidly, (like say phones, TVs), it doesn't make a lot of sense to sink too much cash into the status quo, if you know upfront you'll likely replace it sooner rather than later. Now with more settled technology, say like, a pair of Pants, you're on much safer ground. There the science involved seems to have settled around the two-leg version (for the time being at least). So, unless you've got cash to burn, you might wanna reflect on whether the Cowon Plenue L digital audio player, might end up like that eight-foot wide satellite dish you bought your mom for x-mas, back in '83. So, you gonna burn some cash here, or just shoot'n the breeze?

RayFSo I made a factual comment on with no criticism or negativity aimed towards you that triggered you somehow. You then proceeded to humiliate yourself by claiming your comment was 'Sarcasm' when that is not how sarcasm is worded. That is just an excuse you pulled out of your ass to be defensive. You failed and my comment stands as factual change your baby icon before calling someone a 'Kid' Why are you searching through old walkmans? If because I stated a fact that they retain value despite their age? Hey you may have humiliated yours by throwing a temper tantrum at a mere fact but no need to take it too seriously. There is always next time baby boy and maybe next time you won't shit yourself when you get proven wrong. Everyone starts somewhere you just need to start with diaper training.
