Product Description
At just about counter height, this 36-inch hobby table is great for working while standing or sitting on a stool. Its smooth, durable laminate surface has a long lifespan and is easy to clean, and when you’re through, the metal frame collapses in half and rolls away on tough, locking casters Read More
Regardless of the price, these tables are very flimsy and wobbly...not good for anything. I sold mine for $25. Check Craigslist if you really want one. I paid $69 at Joann (just the table-no mat), with a coupon. Geesh.....who decides to offer this junk???? Not a real quilter!
But did the one from Joanne's include the cutting mat? A friend bought the one from Joanne's and one leg is to short so it was unusable...she returned it.

Got one through IKEA. Paid a little bit more for it but it was well worth it. It's adjustabl. Being tall I need one that adjusted. I'd check this one out and it didn't meet my requirement.
I got the Bekant. It comes with either manual or power height adjustment; mine is the power version, but the hand-crank is less expensive. I have found that if I leave my 40-lb sewing machine sitting off-centre on the desk, the power adjustment doesn't always work. If I take the mackine off, or have it sitting so that the weight is evenly distributed over both legs, it works fine.
There is also the Skarsta, which I think is manual-only (hand crank). It has a slightly different look, but otherwise is quite similar.
Sadly, mine also died when one of the casters broke. However, I was able to salvage all the parts except for the metal frame, and my husband built me a great cutting table using an old 6' counter top and add-on table legs.. We mounted it on a frame, used the wheels, and top pieces for shelving below. Result: a movable, counter height work space that cost almost nothing.
These are sold at Joanns , I bought mine with a 60% off coupon and got it under $100 w/ shipping. These do not last long, they get wobbly, don't waste your money
Shells793True, I had one also, at least I got it at Joann with a coupon so I paid $69. I sold it for $25, and good riddance. WHO suggests this junk?????? This site seems to have been taken over by retailers. (recall the new junk Singer machines.)
