Anyone has firsthand experience with this puzzle? Is it hard, very hard, or casual? I have a couple of very difficult Hanayama puzzles (the Donut and the Cast Laby; in the Demanding and Grueling categories according to this site) and I enjoy them immensely. If this is the same level, I'm in for both this and the Venn Sphere puzzle!!!!

BobrazThis is not a particularly hard puzzle, but is it a solid chunk of machined brass instead of gilded pot metal. Specs indicate the bars are made from half inch round and the whole thing weighs about a pound. Tempting...

ratwerksRight now, I've gotten in the Drop for both puzzles, the price here and the very inexpensive shipping from Drop ($3 per puzzle) makes it the best value for these puzzles, for me in Canada. I mean, there is absolutely no cheaper way for me to get both puzzles anywhere on the Internet. I still have some time to cancel my transaction should I change my mind.

ratwerksso, what you basically mean, it's more of self defence tool rather than entertainment item... ok.

BobrazI am not native English speaker but someone is whispering me, neither are you. The comment meant to be kinda funny/ironic/sarcastic(but in no way offensive and I am not into joking loud and clear). It's just that the puzzle is so heavy, solid, therefore, this old cliche-joke seemed proper.¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also, "Embrace the power of and." in ratwerks comment means sort of joke too, when there is some options which you might equally like (especially, when writing, talking) and you could use "and" instead of choosing one thing over another. Now, the elephant in the room left because of me and after that, jokes are not funny anymore, therefore, I am the power man with all the cool. Everyone, bow to me. just kidinn

VonteperAh, I thought that might be ironic and/sarcastic comment!! I truly was not understanding it - so my own comment was not sarcastic nor angry or whatever, it was really asking for clarification, and I had totally understood it was not offensive. I was starting to suspect it had something to do with using that puzzle as a weapon. Although it would be a puny weapon. You are also right, English is my second language (French is my first), and you seem much more at ease with humor and sarcasm than I am. Keep it up! (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ

BobrazIf you want both and Craighill's newest Tycho puzzle, you might want to check their Indiegogo account. (Found it via their homepage → Tycho.) There you can get all three in a set for an even lower per-piece price.

XTaranThank you very much Sir! Edit: the shipping is $40 for three puzzles, compared to Drop's $3 per puzzle. I was not kidding when writing that Drop is often a better deal for non-US based buyers even if the product itself is a few dollars more...
