I bought this one a Christmas present for my son, recently qualified as an M. Eng, and his dissertation was on robotics, so hope he likes it.
But I am taking a chance here - he's never actually said he wanted one. Anyone like to suggest a "You can use this for X", or "Can do Y with this" for me to pass on in case I don't see a visage of unrequited joy on Christmas morning?

jalanbIt's aminature quad copter it is the best thing ever, if he just finished his dissertation on robotics challenge him to see if he can increase the total lift force the unit can generate. Or install a small camera the works of a relay that used the units receive to relay images back live.
