Need some advice! How would this compare to the Corsair K70 LUX RGB Cherry MX Brown board? Primary usage is meant for photo/video editing, casual typing, gaming. Anyone see a good review of this keyboard that I can base my decision on?

rahulrajeev1990Actually i had a chance to test one unit of this keyboard. It feels great when gaming, maybe not that great feel when typing - but still good keyboard. I tried this keyboard vs Corsair K90 RGB vs Razer Blackwidow Chroma vs Mechanical HyperX Keyboard. The Creative was the best for gaming, Corsair best for typing, Razer and HyperX were in between. I'd say For photo/video editing this keyboard can actually do it, with fully programmable keys - it will be quite easy to make it suitable for this purpose. Also there are 3 fully programmable modes in this keyboard so you can set up 1 mode for normal use, 2nd mode for gaming and 3rd mode for Video and Photo editing.

rahulrajeev1990This board has better capabilities over the K70, especially if you plan to use this for photo/video editing. The switch is a little different, though you'll get used to it quick with typing, gaming and the daily use as they're very easy to adjust your feel to. Specs wise, the switches are better and more responsive than the typical MX switches. For feel, they feel pretty much like rubber domes but in a good way. They have a mechanical tactile feel to it. Let's say they are like Cherry MX browns but with very soft thick O-Rings attached to them. I'm pretty sure you'll feel at home with them. I've got a chance to test use this board alongside the Logitech G810; both are very similar to each other but the G810 slightly falls short for not having programmability like this board. You still can program keys on the G810 with its own or an external third party software but not like how Creative has it all in one spot with their own so you won't have to waste time. All in all, I'm pretty sure you'll welcome this keyboard with open arms; the last bit is just down to your taste preference if you like the look of this keyboard or not. I hope this helps.

ViraDefinitely helps reassure my purchase. I decided to go ahead and get the keyboard and mouse combo with only a couple hours left on the drop. ☺️
