Since I am already in this drop (massdrop is addictive) let me check with the experts: I have the following use case: Gym - iPhone placed somewhere save (2-3 m away) - me having my headphones plugged into the E3 clipped to my gym wear listening to music via bluetooth from my iPhone. --- All I want is not to have my iPhone on me when I do my exercise (cables). If that works - I can use all my in-ears that I couldn't use before in the gym (cable too short, connector in the way, etc). would be fab, can someone confirm that his works?

koolpepHey there..yes this would work. You could have you in ears on your head and the E3 clipped to you (it has a clip built on to it). The range is over 30 feet on the Bluetooth..so you'd be more than fine at 2-3m away.

koolpepYou just have to weigh up whether you'd prefer the iPhone on your body with cables or the E3 on your body with cables.

DigitalRonynRonyn! i really need your help, you seem to know what you're talking about and i see your passion! Could you please recommend me a portable or table top DAC for the AKG K7XX. I've been sadly missing out on the potential of these headphones and have been using some off brand portable dac called spider..(its sad..) hopefully you wont mind reaching out to me! thank you!

tmdals0213This particular product will drive any AKGs very well. If you're looking for something a little bit more high quality and tabletop (but also over 100$ more expensive) you can look at the Objective 2 Amp and O-DAC or the Schiit Magni/Modi Combo.

ronCYAThanks. I prefer the E3 with its clip. Solves my issue of sometimes catapulting my iPhone 6-128 around the room while being clumsy (cables) - so I hope to lower the potential financial damage to my behavior ;-)
