The masses? This is decent and geared towards gamers. It is not easy finding something external that accepts mic input. You wanna be elitist "audiophiles" are very off-putting to people trying to enter into the world of better sound.

Don't be an elitist asshole like this guy and write this dac/amp off because of the sound blaster name. It's a good piece of equipment and worth buying over the recommendations at this price range that get endlessly parroted around here, if you have use for some of the extra features.
