Yep. I don't understand why someone would use Massdrop over Amazon for the same price? Isn't the principal here that we are all pooling resources and getting a deal? I don't get it.
I see it go down to $299 a lot, even if it's not always there.
I'm not knocking the X7, I have one, it's awesome and totally worth it. Anyone who needs this functionality and is wondering if this is a quality product, it totally is and I love it.
I guess I just wish a Massdrop offering would either give a slight discount or, some unique addition or something. More of a general comment I guess. :)
For sure, the custom editions of established products that Massdrop produce are tough on the wallet :P Still debating with myself whether to purchase the X7!
Its just buisness. Amazon can sell their stuff so low because they have it spread out every where. Then you have to deal with Manufacturer Advertise Pricing or MAP. This is the lowest price the seller can advertise for a new product if they sell for less they are in violation of their disribution contract. Due to MAP they sell product A at $50 with a prfofit margin of 50% Product B sells for $50 but retails everywhere else for $75 at this price it makes a 50% profit selling it at $50 would only produce at 26% profit but it made it up because product A made them 50% profit. These are broad numbers for explination. It can get much more complicated. This happens on thousands of products they sell. Also I find this better for me becuase paypal credit no intrest for 6 months.
