Average...
They were average sounding. The problems were with the mic. People said I was either cutting out or they straight up couldn't hear me. Really wanted to like these.

Good
Good for the price ! The materials are great and they are very comfortable . I am just turned off because of the software they have and the overall volume is kinda low .

They are great for the price, the microphone is actually pretty good, but the sound quality of the headphones isnt really that great. They dont have alot of detail or bass but for 30$ they arnt bad. They are also disappointingly quiet without any type of dac/amp, but with one they sound ok but still not the greatest. I will probably use them for console gaming or something but im going to get a modmic or something in the future for my 58x's.

For $30, I'm surprised how amazing this headset it. It's even my favorite closed back. Considering the frequency response graph is somewhat similar to HyperX Cloud II, as well as the looks, I was worried the H5 would make me sick like Cloud II does because I'm very sensitive to treble, turns out that 9khz spike isn't too high and doesn't bother me. At first look, the pads seem uncomfortable, yet they surprised me again. I can use them for hours without any issues. The only bad thing is the in-line volume controller. My shirt or whatever often gets in touch with it, and of course, the volume wheel is extremely sensitive. Adjusting volume also causes inaccurate soundstage, basically sometimes the left channel is louder, and sometimes the right one. I have to keep the volume wheel to the max for the volume to be even.

Great product. Excellent sound quality and super comfortable. The shipping and import costs are ridiculous! The product cost $30. Then it's $12 for shipping, which is fine. When the package arrived I was charged an additional $2 in local taxes, which is also fine. Then, I was charged another $10 by the shipping company. This is a fee to collected the $2 in taxes! So, for a $30 product, you pay $22 in shipping and fees, more than %75 of the value of the item. Beware!

I use this headset for work and mainly for video chats. The audio quality, with regard to my usage, is excellent. I use a USB adapter to connect to my system and that improves the overall sound quality as well as increases the volume range. This was a great purchase.

This has been one of the best headsets I've owned, especially combined with the G1 amp/dac and its software. My only complaint so far, is that after about 12 months of fairly heavy use, the volume/mute controller has developed a bit of a hissing noise when adjusting volume or toggling the mute switch, this doesn't affect the headset though. My main issue is that the leatherette ear pads have begun to crack and fall apart, which is expected from this type of material, the problem is I'm unable to find replacement ear pads anywhere. Other than this, I would happily use them for another 12 months, they still feel as tight and solid as the day I got them.
