Wait for another Nixeus Revel drop.
Same sensor and cheaper...
but if you like this mouse go for it
I have tried both mice and they are not even close in build quality or performance. Yes, for a down and dirty, no frills mouse the Nixeus fits the bill. However, the quality of materials used, ergonomics, look and feel of the Creative mouse are much better. The Creative Siege also has RGB and a great software interface to program all buttons on the mouse and the sensor to your personal liking.
Besides we are only talking $14 bucks more to get the Creative Siege and everything I mentioned before. Seems like a no brainier.
Looks, feels, and ergonomics are subjective. A LOT of people love the classic SS Sensei shape that the Revel takes after. Looks are also subjective, and so is your software. Zowie's mice are well loved but have no RGB or none of that software stuff. Not everyone wants software if that means the mouse won't perform the same on every computer. Not everyone wants RGB because that adds weight. Weight is the name of the game, and as more companies like Logitech, Finalmouse, etc. keep pushing the weight of their mice down, heavier mice like these will get left behind. There is a reason why proessionals don't use mice like the G502, which is a relative brick and severely hinders aim. The Revel is light, a good 20+ grams lighter than the Creative Siege. If you plan on getting a no frills mouse that was meant for competitive FPS, seems like a no brainer.
