Any good adventure should end with a cold one—at least, Oregon-based knifemaker Eric Ochs thinks so. Enter the Bev-Edge: a compact folder with a bottle opener built right into the handle Read More
I ordered 2 of these; 1 in of each style. I love the integrated bottle opener and its the reason I ordered them. The stainless one needs to be taken apart, cleaned, and oiled as its operation is very rough. The black tanto has smooth play.
Edges on both are between acceptable-decent for a knife in this entry price bracket. I haven't sharpened either although expect results similar to my other 8Cr13MoV knives. Considering my EDCs are a Ferrum Buc S35VN and an Leek 14C28N. I don't really see myself looking at sharpening these as the black tanto is kept on my home desk and the stainless is kept in my travel backpack.
I'll give both a 5 as the gunk/rough play of the stainless is likely an oddity and the black tanto has smooth play. Both edges don't have any fold on their edge and while not shave sharp are decent from factory.
