CRKT Du Hoc Karambit Fixed Blade Knife
Born on the Battlefield
Fifty years after he served, Forged by War designer Austin McGlaun found out his late uncle won the Silver Star at Point Du Hoc. In honor of the man, and with a little help from Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical, McGlaun created the Du Hoc Karambit. This commanding piece features a 5.1-inch hawkbill blade made from SK5, a high-carbon steel with high levels of manganese for added toughness. Matching the menacing blade is an equally menacing handle made from G-10 with a massive thumb ring. The size of the ring allows hands of any size to grip it like a traditional karambit, even with gloves. Finally, there’s a glass-reinforced nylon sheath that allows for quick access in a pinch.
