Definitely be careful when opening this knife. You need to be very precise in holding/opening it, otherwise you will get cut by a very, very sharp blade.

I have the smaller SS version of this knife and it's quite a snappy opener. I'm curious why so many below were having so much trouble flipping this larger Eros open. Is that still the case with recent models. Would loosening the pivot screw a bit help in these cases?

I really want to like this purchase, but the lever is minimal making it difficult to open and the overall size is small for my hand. I like the design and stabby pointy end, but this is not an easy flipper by any means.

serrations are always better on rope. for a multi purpose blade, 30-50% serrations is sufficient

I own the titanium version of this knive. The bearings are not caged. I lost a few when I opened my knife and contacted crkt and the sent me a package for free. I bent the pocket clip and they sent one for free. Crkt has some of the best customer service.
