This is a large knife; too large to pocket, IMO. It does fit in the hand nicely, feels good to hold, and easy to control. It is not the nicest knide, but excellent for the price to keep in glove box or take when camping.
Feels good in your hand - fit, form and function is perfect. Feels balanced and operates like a well oiled machine. I liked this one so much I purchased 8 of them - great gifts!
Good general workhorse - nothing special but it is sharp and retains its edge well. It is a chunky carry but I enjoy that.
Could do with a longer side-clip, but that‘s ni-picking
Great blade for the money . Came sharp out of the box. Opens and closes pretty smoothly but with a little work it really breaks in and works great. I like the extra lock. And would highly recommend this knife for scouts or wood working.
shitty knife, shitty blade, shitty safety
grips are thick and cumbersome
not like other CRKT knives that are much much nicer
price was good, until i got a 25$ COD charge when the package arrived
never again massdrop, never again
Pros:
Large size (I wear 2XL gloves) so this fits my hand perfectly.
Good for a camp folder, and as an outdoor knife that you take out and risk losing without hitting your wallet too hard.
Cons:
Too large for EDC (not all knives are for EDC though)
Liner is WAY too thin for a knife of this size but the locking mechanism kind of makes up for that
Gritty action
Feels cheap
it is what it is: a novelly large cheap folder.
Not (my personal) favorite of CRKT. This would be a great knife for camping, tool box etc. Big knife but not a heavy knife. All the fit and finish is good. Handle feels a bit cheap. This is all IMO. I am a CRKT fan so it was not the kind of life I like.
The blade came sharp and the knife feels solid. It seems like a great knife though mine came defective out of the box. The liner lock does not engage while the knife is closed which allows the knife to be opened with very minimal effort which got me cut the first time I found out about it when it opened on my pocket. The small ball on the side of the liner is not liner up with the hole for it in the blade and there is no way to adjust it. I put in a support ticket on massdrop and I will see how it goes.
Edit: Massdrop responded to my email withing a few hours and offered to ship a new knife without me having to return the defective one.
Great work knife at a very reasonable price. Mine is very stiff and will not just pop open with the flipper. I have oiled it lightly, but can’t yet find the right balance between listening the pivot screw and keeping the blade from having any play. The LAWKS feature is fine, but superfluous. Blade needed a bit of a sharpening tune-up on receipt. For the price, I’d give it 3.5 stars. It has handled what I’ve thrown at it so far.
