I just opened it today came in the mail yesterday. Overall the knife is okay flipping the knife open the frame lock seems to lock the blade in fairly good but just pulling it open the lock doesn't seem to engage all the time. Its a little weird but other then that the knife seems good for what it is.

The older M16 and M21 blades were way better. This is CRKT's cheap knock off of its own knife. I'm boycotting this (hahhah like anyone cares) because it's simply sad to see a previously nice design devolve into this. Spyderco and Kershaw at least still delivers quality from their Chinese made designs at an affordable price.
I'm always a little bummed out by the 3" CRKT M16 knives, because the blade is so light that it doesn't have enough momentum to use just the flipper. A good flick of the wrist still gets the knife open in one motion, but it feels so much smoother on the 6" models.
TueraiI've found that flipping action really depends on two things: detent strength and pivot resistance. If you have a good enough detent and a really smooth pivot, you could probably flip the universe.
smoothest 3" or under flipper I've used from CRKT is the Ripple 2 (small).
EDIT: I have a gerber knockoff (EVO jr) of this particular blade, and the flipping action is pretty crap.
Just received my CRKT Deviation from the recent drop and am impressed by it. This looks like a good deal on an inexpensive knock around knife from CRKT with the added bonus of the bottle opener. I'm in!
